How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
The Currency Converter helps travellers, online shoppers and anyone following foreign exchange to quickly turn a sum of money into another currency. At its heart is an editable rate table that ships with twelve of the most-used currencies — US dollar, euro, Japanese yen, British pound, Hong Kong dollar, new Taiwan dollar, Korean won, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Swiss franc and the Chinese yuan — each listed as how many yuan one unit of that currency buys. Unlike tools that only show a static quote, every rate here is a live input box: the moment you see the latest bank price, type it into the table and the conversion instantly recalculates, while a clear note above reminds you that the defaults are for reference and the live bank quote should prevail. To convert, you simply enter an amount, choose the source and target currencies from the dropdowns, and click Convert; the swap button in the middle reverses the two with one click so you can compare both directions at once. The result area shows the answer in large digits, with a small line underneath stating the implied exchange rate so you can see exactly how the number was reached. Every calculation happens locally in your browser, with no network request at all. The interface is available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English, and works smoothly on both phones and desktops, so you can price a trip, a parcel or an online order in seconds wherever you are. Because the table stays editable, it also doubles as a small planning worksheet: before booking a hotel abroad you can trial a weaker or stronger rate and see how much your total budget swings, which makes the tool useful well beyond a single quick lookup.
