📖 About this tool
Keyword density is the share of a word in the total word count of a text, a common reference for judging whether a page over-uses a keyword. The tool tokenises Chinese with a sliding window of one to four characters and merges short words contained in longer phrases, splits English into words, and counts occurrences and density share, sorted highest first. You can set the maximum word length, minimum occurrence count, number of rows and scope, filter Chinese and English stop words, and lowercase English. Everything is computed locally in the browser and no text is uploaded. Typical uses include checking whether an article over-stuffs keywords, comparing word emphasis against competitor pages, extracting core terms from long copy, and providing a frequency basis for rewriting. Results can be copied or exported as CSV for further analysis.
