📖 Tool Introduction

Sticky Notes is a lightweight tool that turns your browser window into a wall of colorful sticky notes. It deliberately skips folders, tags, collaboration and accounts, and focuses on one single job: letting you scribble a one-line reminder within three seconds of opening the page. After you create a note, type a title and a body, it appears on the grid wall as a rounded colorful card, and you can paint it in any of six macaron shades, namely yellow, pink, blue, green, purple and orange. Every keystroke is written to localStorage instantly, so there is no save button to click; refreshing the page, closing the tab, or even restarting the computer, your notes are still there when you come back. Important reminders can be pinned to the front of the wall with a single tap on the pin at the top-right corner, just like thumbtacking a yellow note to the edge of your monitor. Deleting a single note asks for confirmation so nothing vanishes by accident, while Clear all is there for the clean-up when a project wraps up. Use it for to-dos, half-formed ideas, a client's temporary phone number, a wishlist of books, or a birthday reminder for your family. Fully offline with no data collection at all, it is a quiet but trustworthy corner of your desktop for quick reminders that you actually want to keep visible throughout the day, instead of burying them inside yet another productivity app. The wall also adapts gracefully to narrow screens, so a shopping list opened on your phone while walking to the store stays just as readable as the planning board on a wide monitor at work.

📝 How to Use

1. Click New note and a blank colorful card appears on the wall instantly
2. Write a one-line summary in the title and expand the details in the body
3. Tap a color dot at the bottom to recolor, and tap the pin at the top-right to pin it
4. Everything saves as you type, so notes are still in place next time you open the page
5. Remove a note with Delete at the bottom-right, or use Clear all when a project ends

⚠️ Notes

• Local storage: notes live in browser localStorage; clearing browser data removes them, so back up critical reminders elsewhere
• Delete confirmation: both single delete and Clear all pop a confirmation dialog first
• Privacy: data stays on your device with no network request, so sensitive notes are safe to write
• Capacity: localStorage usually caps at 5MB, far more than everyday text notes ever use
• Cross-browser: notes do not sync across browsers or devices; this is a single-device local tool
