Online PowerPoint Slide Editor
How to Use
📖 About this tool
This is a presentation editor that runs entirely inside your browser. The layout follows the familiar office ribbon style: seven tabs (Home, Insert, Design, Transitions, Slide Show, View and File) across the top, slide thumbnails on the left, and a free-form canvas in the middle where you place elements. Create a presentation, pick a layout, then add text boxes, shapes, pictures, tables and charts. Drag to move an element, drag a corner handle to resize it, and double-click a text box to edit its content. Every change is rendered immediately, so you see the result as you type. The finished deck can be exported as a standard PPTX file for desktop office suites, exported as images, printed as handouts, or presented full screen. Nothing is uploaded to any server; the tool works offline and needs no registration. It also provides footer and page numbers, element lock and unlock, format painter, rule-of-thirds guides, clear current slide and full-screen editing. It also provides group and ungroup, snap to grid, entrance animations, a selection pane, a slide timer, precise size and position, and PDF export.
✨ Features
- Eight layouts are available: Title, Title and Content, Two Content, Blank, Section Header, Picture with Caption, Comparison and Quote. Switching a layout places placeholder text automatically
- Text supports font family, size, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, font colour, highlight, left / center / right / justify alignment, bullets, numbering and line spacing. Shapes support fill colour, outline colour, outline width and opacity
- Fifteen built-in shapes: rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, triangle, diamond, pentagon, hexagon, star, arrow, chevron, heart, cloud, callout, cross and explosion, all freely positioned
- Insert local pictures or drop an image file straight onto the canvas. Images fill their frame and are packed into the exported PPTX file
- Six chart types: column, bar, line, pie, area and doughnut. Data is entered as one label, value pair per line, and the chart is drawn directly on the canvas
- Tables are inserted with a chosen number of rows and columns; the first row is bolded as a header and exported as a real table object in PPTX
- Elements can be brought forward or sent backward, moved to front or back, and aligned left, center, right, top, middle or bottom. With several elements selected the bounding box is the reference
- Eight colour schemes and five font schemes apply to the whole deck in one click, updating title, body and shape colours. Backgrounds support solid colour, gradient or picture, and can be applied to all slides
- Eight transitions: fade, push, wipe, zoom, cover, split, reveal and cube, each with slow, medium or fast speed plus an optional auto-advance delay in seconds
- Slide show can start from the beginning or from the current slide. Use arrow keys to navigate and Esc to exit. Loop playback, hiding a slide and showing speaker notes are all supported
- Undo and redo are available together with copy, cut, paste and duplicate, all with keyboard shortcuts. Find and replace searches across slides with case-sensitive and whole-word options
- The File tab offers new, open project or PPTX, save project, export PPTX, export image archive, export JSON, print and properties. Printing supports 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 9 slides per page with optional notes
- Watermarks accept text or an image, can be tiled or placed on any of nine anchor points, with adjustable colour, size, opacity and angle; apply to the current slide or to every slide, and they appear in thumbnails, full-screen presentation, handout printing, image export and PPTX export
- Exporting PPTX now writes all six chart types as real native chart objects, so PowerPoint lets you keep editing series names, category labels and values instead of a text box of numbers
- Right-click an element for 15 actions: cut, copy, paste, duplicate, delete, bring to front, send to back, move up or down, lock, unlock, group, ungroup, size and position, and select all
- The watermark is drawn beneath elements and honours the opacity setting, so elements stay selectable, draggable and editable
- Every toolbar button carries a locally drawn icon with a hover tooltip and no external icon library
- Toolbar buttons are icon only with hover names, the nine slide transitions each get their own glyph with the effect name on hover, and theme swatches still show their colours
🚀 How to use
- Check the current slide on the left, click New Slide and choose a layout from the ribbon
- Double-click placeholder text on the canvas to edit the title and body; add more text boxes from the Insert tab
- To add shapes, pictures, tables or charts, switch to the Insert tab, click the button, then drag the new element into place and resize it from a corner
- With an element selected, use the Home tab for fonts, colours and shape styles, and the Arrange group for alignment and stacking order
- On the Design tab pick a colour and font scheme, and switch the background to solid, gradient or picture
- On the Transitions tab choose an effect and speed for the current slide, and set an auto-advance delay if needed
- On the Slide Show tab click From Beginning to present full screen; use arrow keys to move and Esc to exit
- Finally, on the File tab export PPTX, images or the project file, or print handouts directly
- Go to the Design tab and choose Watermark, pick text or image, set tiling, position, colour and angle, then decide whether it applies to the current slide or to all slides
⚠️ Notes
- Charts are exported to PPTX as text boxes containing the data, because real chart parts require extra OOXML components. Re-insert the chart in your desktop suite if you need to edit it there
- Opening an external PPTX reads the text and position of text boxes and shapes. Grouped shapes, animation timelines and embedded charts are not restored
- Printing and PDF export rely on the browser print dialog; choose Save as PDF or your printer there
- Pictures are embedded as-is in the project file, so inserting many very large images will slow down saving and exporting
- Everything lives in the current page only. Reloading loses unsaved work, so export the project file often
