How to Use

📖 About this tool

PDF Signer lets you put a signature on a PDF right inside the browser. You can draw it with the mouse, upload a photo of your handwritten signature, or type text that is rendered in a handwriting-style face. Click anywhere on the page preview to drop it in place, then adjust size, rotation and opacity; several signatures can be stacked on the same page. It suits contracts, quotations, confirmation letters and handover forms - anything that needs signing and sending back.

White background pixels are turned transparent when the signature is generated, so a signature placed over text does not hide the body copy. Everything is processed locally, so documents carrying amounts and personal details never travel to a server.

✨ Features

  • Three signature sources - draw, upload an image, or generate from typed text.
  • Automatic transparency - the white background of a drawn signature is removed so it never blocks the text.
  • WYSIWYG placement - one click on the page preview drops it in place.
  • Size, rotation, opacity - 20% to 300% scaling, plus or minus 45 degrees, 20% to 100% opacity.
  • Multiple pages and signatures - switch pages and sign each one, or stack several on a single page.
  • Undo - remove the last placement if you mis-clicked.
  • Local processing - the file is never uploaded.

🚀 How to use

  1. Click Choose file or drag a PDF onto the dashed area, or load the sample contract.
  2. Pick a source: draw on the pad then press Use this signature, upload an image, or type your name.
  3. Set size, rotation and opacity.
  4. Click on the page preview to place the signature; switch pages to place more.
  5. Press Apply and download.

⚠️ Notes

  • This adds a signature image, not a certificate-based digital signature, so it carries no legal e-seal validity.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed.
  • Uploaded signature images with their own white background are not automatically keyed out - use a black-on-white photo.
  • A signature is centred on the point you click; use Undo to place it again.
  • When drawing, press Use this signature before clicking on the page.
