PDF to PPT
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
When a PDF deck, proposal or report has to become something presentable, the quickest route is turning each page into a slide. This tool renders every PDF page as an image and places them into a pptx in the original order, producing a deck you can open and edit in PowerPoint or WPS.
Its purpose is to get you to an editable deck fast. Each page is an image you can move, resize, crop or delete, so you can add a cover, reorder sections or apply transitions without rebuilding from scratch. The text itself is not an editable text box, which is an inherent limit of this approach.
Resolution is selectable at 96, 150 or 200 DPI. For projecting a long document, 96 is plenty; choose higher when printing or when fine detail must survive zooming. Slide size can follow the PDF page ratio or be normalized to 16:9 or 4:3.
Parsing and rendering happen locally in the browser. Files are never uploaded, so unpublished business material is safe to convert.
✨ Features
- Renders every page to an image and places slides in the original document order.
- Three resolution levels cover everything from screen projection to print.
- Slide size follows the PDF page ratio, or normalizes to 16:9 or 4:3.
- Page range support, so you can convert just pages 1-5,8 for example.
- Choose JPEG to control file size or PNG for lossless output.
- JPEG quality slider to trade size against sharpness.
- Page-by-page preview before converting, so you can confirm the content.
- Standard pptx output that opens in PowerPoint, WPS and Keynote.
- Live progress bar so long conversions never feel like they stalled.
- Fully client-side; the PDF is never uploaded.
- Images can be moved, resized or deleted in PowerPoint for re-layout.
- Stays stable on long documents instead of failing partway through.
🚀 How to Use
- Press choose PDF, or drag the file into the dashed area.
- Page through the preview to confirm the content is correct.
- Set resolution, slide size, image format and quality.
- Optionally enter a page range, such as 1-5,8.
- Press convert and the browser downloads the generated pptx.
⚠️ Notes
- Text is not editable:Each page is an image rather than text boxes. To change wording, overlay a text box in PowerPoint or edit the source file.
- This re-lays out, it does not reconstruct:Complex tables, formulas and vector artwork become images and may not match the original layout exactly.
- High DPI grows files fast:A few dozen pages at 200 DPI can reach tens of megabytes; use 96 DPI for screen use.
- Encrypted PDFs cannot be parsed:Password-protected files must be unlocked before uploading.
- Large files take time:Hundreds of pages or high-resolution scans can take tens of seconds; watch the progress bar.
- Scanned PDFs stay images:A PDF that is already a scan remains an image; no selectable text is created out of nothing.
What conversion does and does not do
- Page mapping: each selected PDF page becomes one slide, with the page rendered as a full slide image plus extracted text boxes when text is available.
- Fidelity caveat: complex tables, charts and multi column layouts are not rebuilt as native shapes. Expect a faithful visual starting point rather than a perfectly re-editable deck.
Privacy and compatibility
- Nothing is uploaded: parsing and packaging run inside your browser, so contracts and internal reports stay on your device.
- Performance: long documents take longer; convert a page range instead of the whole file when you only need part of it.
