Meta Tag Generator
How to Use
📖 About this tool
The meta tags in a page head decide how search engines and social platforms crawl and display it. This tool collects the common tags in one form: enter title, description, keywords, author and canonical URL, choose the robots directive, viewport form, language and theme colour, then generate copy-ready code in one click. Open Graph and Twitter Card tags can be included on demand, avoiding the common mistake of mixing up property and name attributes. On generation it checks whether the title exceeds 60 characters or the description exceeds 160 and warns you — the usual truncation thresholds for search snippets. Everything runs locally and nothing you type is uploaded. Typical uses include producing a standard head for a new page, adding social tags to existing pages, keeping viewport and robots consistent across a site, and handing a tag template to colleagues who are not comfortable with HTML.
