📖 About this tool

Titles and descriptions in search results are not shown verbatim: engines truncate them by both character count and pixel width, replacing the rest with an ellipsis. This tool simulates the real appearance for the engine you pick — Google desktop uses roughly 20px single-line titles and 14px two-line descriptions, Baidu sets a slightly smaller title, and mobile differs again in both size and line count. Enter the title, description and page URL and it renders immediately, so you can see whether anything is cut off and exactly where. It also reports the character count and an Arial-based pixel width estimate, so you can trim to a safe range before publishing. Everything runs locally. Typical uses include confirming a title will not be cut off before publishing, comparing how different engines display it, tuning description length for mobile, and showing colleagues why an over-long description hurts click-through.

✨ Features

  • Three engines:Google, Baidu and Bing each with their own font sizes and line counts
  • Desktop and mobile:Mobile uses smaller text and more lines — check both
  • Live rendering:Updates as you type, with no button press
  • Pixel width estimate:Measured in Arial, closer to engine behaviour than counting characters
  • Automatic domain:The breadcrumb line is parsed from the page URL you enter

🚀 How to use

  1. Enter title and description;
  2. Choose engine and device;
  3. Watch where the preview truncates;
  4. Adjust the length and check again.
