Excel to PDF
How to Use
📖 About this tool
Excel to PDF turns an .xlsx workbook into a PDF inside your browser. It is what you reach for before sending a sales breakdown to a client who should not be able to edit it, before printing a stock list for the warehouse wall, or before attaching a statement to a contract. You pick the worksheet, orientation and scale, and you can have the header row repeated at the top of every page so a long table stays readable after page two.
Everything happens locally, so sheets holding costs, salaries or customer lists never travel to a server. The grid is rendered on a canvas and embedded in the PDF, which keeps Chinese headers and numbers intact.
✨ Features
- Worksheet picker - every sheet in the workbook is listed and any one can be exported.
- Orientation and scale - portrait or landscape, plus 40% to 100% scaling to squeeze a wide sheet onto a page.
- Repeated header row - the first row is redrawn at the top of each page.
- Gridline toggle - keep them for a spreadsheet look or drop them for a cleaner page.
- Auto column widths - computed from the content, with overlong values clipped to an ellipsis.
- Header and page numbers - optional header text and "1 / N" numbering.
- First page preview - check the layout before exporting.
- Local processing - the workbook never leaves the machine.
🚀 How to use
- Click Choose file or drag an .xlsx onto the dashed area, or load the built-in sample.
- Pick the worksheet, then set orientation, scale, gridlines and header repeat.
- Optionally enter header text and choose where page numbers appear.
- Press Convert and download PDF.
⚠️ Notes
- Only .xlsx is supported; save legacy .xls files as .xlsx first.
- Formula cells export their computed values, not the formulas.
- Merged cells, charts, images and conditional formatting are not rendered.
- Very wide sheets are best exported in landscape at a reduced scale, otherwise they spill across pages.
- The result is a page image, so the text is not selectable or searchable.
