File Merger
File Merger
Merge chunks in order · Rebuild the file
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
File Merger is the reverse of File Splitter: when you receive a set of chunks produced by the splitter or by any other volume tool (such as part001, part002, part003), you simply add them to a queue in order and the tool concatenates those binary chunks byte by byte inside the browser into a single Blob, then downloads the rebuilt file. The merge performs no decompression, checksum or transcoding; it is pure byte-level concatenation, so as long as the chunks are complete and ordered correctly, the result is byte-for-byte identical to the original. To prevent ordering mistakes, the tool auto-sorts chunks by the numeric part of their filename when you add them, and provides move-up, move-down and remove buttons so you can verify the queue before merging. The queue shows every chunk's size and the running total, which helps you spot a missing part. You can also rename the merged output in the box at the top. All computation happens in browser memory, so chunks never reach a server, which makes the merger suitable for reassembling volumes received from colleagues, clients or historical archives. Paired with the File Splitter on the same site, you can move large files safely between any two devices. Because there is no upload and no recompression, merging gigabytes of chunks finishes in seconds and works fully offline, even on locked-down intranets. The predictable naming pattern also means chunks usually land in the right order automatically, and the arrow controls are there only for the rare manual correction. Whether you are rebuilding a downloaded archive, reassembling a disk image split across small drives, or recovering a chat transfer that arrived in pieces, the whole flow takes only a few clicks. A built-in example queues three short text parts the moment you click the sample button, so first-time visitors can watch the queue build and download a merged file without hunting for real chunks. Because the concatenation is pure byte-level and never re-encodes anything, the rebuilt file matches the source checksum exactly as long as the parts are complete and ordered. The running total in the queue is the fastest way to catch a missing part: if the expected size is off by exactly one chunk, remove and re-add that slot instead of merging blindly. The whole workflow needs no account, no upload and no installation, which makes it equally useful on locked-down office laptops and on shared machines at a public kiosk.
✨ Key Features
- Byte-level concat: native Blob merge, no transcoding, byte-exact rebuild
- Auto sort: parts are ordered by numeric filename automatically
- Adjustable queue: move up, move down, remove to verify order
- Live stats: chunk count and total size shown, missing parts easy to spot
- Custom naming: rename the merged output freely
- Local and safe: chunks stay in browser memory, never upload
📝 How to Use
- Drop all chunks into the dashed box, or multi-select them
- Check the queue order and use arrows to fine-tune if needed
- Type a merged filename in the top box, or keep the default
- Click Merge & Download to save the rebuilt file
- Verify the file in your file manager or with a checksum tool
⚠️ Notes
- Order matters: queue order is byte order, a mistake corrupts the file
- Completeness: any missing chunk makes the result incomplete
- At least two: a single chunk needs no merging and triggers a hint
- Keep extension: keep the original extension so apps recognize the file
- Offline: pure local concatenation, works on locked-down networks
