A browser cannot open a database socket, so use CSV/TSV instead: the first line holds column names, each following line is one record. After binding a column, copy N of a batch export reads row N. The file is read locally and never uploaded.
How to Use
📖 Introduction
Product labels, shipping slips, asset stickers and shelf tags all need a layout tool where you can place text, barcodes and simple shapes exactly where you want them. This tool brings that workflow into the browser. You start by setting the stock size and how many labels sit across and down a sheet, then add text, a linear barcode, a QR code, a rectangle, an ellipse or a line. Every element carries its own position, size, rotation, font and colour, and the preview redraws as soon as anything changes. Barcode encoders and the QR matrix are computed locally with no external library and nothing is uploaded, and the finished design exports to PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF.
✨ Features
- Six element types: text, linear barcode, QR code, rectangle, ellipse and line. Each can be placed, resized, rotated and locked on its own.
- A complete barcode engine that runs locally. Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and ITF-14 each build their check digit and bar pattern from the published rules, and QR codes support the four error correction levels L, M, Q and H, including Chinese text.
- Full stock controls: width and height, columns and rows, horizontal and vertical gaps, left and top margins, corner radius, print resolution and background colour, plus optional grid and cut line overlays.
- Text can be driven by fixed content, a serial number or the current date. A serial takes a start value, a step, a digit width and a prefix or suffix, and it increments across copies on export.
- A layer panel supports selecting, reordering, duplicating and deleting. On the canvas you drag to move and pull the bottom right handle to resize, and a locked element stops reacting to the mouse.
- Export covers PNG, JPEG, SVG and PDF, as a single label or a whole sheet, at one to four times scale. PDF output writes one page per copy, which is handy for sending straight to a printer.
🛠 How to use
- Set the stock width and height and the number of columns and rows. For a full sheet print run, enter the real counts and the gaps and margins of your roll.
- Add the elements you need from the add buttons, then click one in the preview. The property panel switches to the controls that apply to it.
- A text element can take its value from a serial number or from today's date. A serial accepts a start value, a step, a digit width and a prefix or suffix.
- Drag an element in the preview to move it, or drag its bottom right handle to resize. Tick lock when an element should stay put.
- Pick a format, a scope, a copy count and a scale under output, then press Export. With more than one copy the PDF gets one page per copy.
⚠️ Notes
- Barcode data has to fit the symbology. EAN-13 wants 12 or 13 digits, UPC-A wants 11 or 12 and ITF-14 wants 13 or 14. When the length or characters are wrong the preview tells you instead of drawing a symbol that will not scan.
- Fonts come from your own machine. The sans, serif and monospace choices fall back to whatever the operating system has, so the same file can render with slightly different glyphs on another computer.
- Sizes are in millimetres. The preview converts them with the selected resolution and the export scale multiplies that resolution. 600 DPI at four times produces a very large image, which is rarely needed for web artwork.
- PDF output embeds a raster image, one page or several. It is convenient for printing but holds no vector text, so choose SVG when you need to keep editing the artwork as vectors.
- Do not use it to counterfeit. The tool is meant for your own labels and demo material, not for imitating another brand or for deception.
