How to Use

📖 What this does

Putting together a contract mock-up, an expense form, a slide deck or a batch of fixtures for a test database often means you need an image that looks like a real stamp. Waiting on a designer is slow, and bending text around a circle by hand in a paint program is fiddly enough that most people give up and settle for something that plainly is not a seal. This tool draws the whole thing in your browser. Pick a shape and a border, type the arc text, the centre text and a reference number along the bottom, and the preview redraws on every single change. When it looks right, take it away as PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG or PDF. Nothing is uploaded, and no image ever leaves the machine you are working on.

✨ Features

  • Four outlines: circle, oval, square and rectangle. The border can be a single line, a double ring, or nothing at all, and its width, colour and the gap between the two rings are set separately.
  • Three independent text slots. The top line curves around the circumference, the centre line sits horizontally in the middle, and the bottom line carries a serial number or a date. Each slot has its own size and vertical offset.
  • The curved line takes a size, a letter spacing, a radius and a span. Raising the spacing spreads the characters evenly along the arc instead of crushing them together at the top.
  • Seven ready-made layouts ship with it: company seal, finance seal, contract seal, invoice seal, legal representative, personal name and void. One click applies a layout and you keep editing from there.
  • Wear is produced by erasing pixels with a seeded random generator, which gives you the patchy ink coverage and chewed-up edges of a stamp that has been used hard. The texture stays put while you drag a slider, and reshuffling hands you a different pattern.
  • Export covers PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG and PDF at one, two, three or four times the base size. SVG comes out as vectors and stays sharp at any scale; PDF is a single page with the image embedded.

🛠 How to use it

  1. Click whichever preset is closest to what you need, or skip the presets and start from the shape and border controls.
  2. Fill in the arc text, the centre text and the bottom line. Drag the size sliders and watch the preview respond immediately, so you can judge a type size at a glance.
  3. Tick the star box if you want the five-pointed mark. Two sliders set its size and how far up or down it sits. It borrows the text colour by default; untick that to give it a colour of its own.
  4. Under effects, set the rotation, the opacity, the wear and the noise. A few degrees of rotation is usually enough to make a seal look hand-pressed rather than printed.
  5. Choose a format and a scale under output, then press Download. Pick PNG or WebP when you need a transparent background, JPEG when you want it on white.

⚠️ Before you use the output

  • These are drawings, not authorisations. Do not put one on a real contract, invoice or form, and do not use one to pass itself off as the seal of any company or person.
  • Fonts come from your own machine. Song, Kai, Fangsong and Li resolve to whatever your operating system has installed. A missing face falls back to the default, so the same file can look different on two computers.
  • Wear and noise genuinely damage the artwork. Push either past about half way and strokes start breaking up, and on a transparent PNG the holes go straight through. Set both to zero when you want a clean mark.
  • Scale multiplies the canvas. Four times at an 800 pixel base is a 3200 pixel image, and the file size climbs with it. One or two times is plenty for anything bound for a web page.
  • WebP depends on the browser. A few older ones cannot encode it, in which case you get a message telling you to switch to PNG or JPEG. SVG and PDF need no encoder and work everywhere.
