Dice Roller
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
Dice Roller is an online dice simulation built for tabletop role playing gamers, party game hosts and anyone who needs a fair random throw. It covers the six polyhedral dice that appear most often in tabletop systems: the four sided D4, the six sided D6, the eight sided D8, the ten sided D10, the twelve sided D12 and the famous twenty sided D20. You switch between them with a single tap on the button row at the top, then use the plus and minus stepper or type directly into the field to choose how many dice you want to throw in one batch, from one up to ten. When you press the roll button, every die starts a fast rolling animation in which the numbers flicker rapidly, mimicking the way real dice tumble across a table, and after about half a second each die settles on its final value. The generator relies on the browser built in crypto secure random source rather than Math.random, so the distribution stays even without any hidden server bias. A maximum roll lights up in gold to mark a critical hit, while a minimum roll turns red as a fumble, which matches the judgment habits used in most role playing sessions. Below the tray the tool automatically sums all the pips and keeps the last eight roll records, so you can trace back exactly what was thrown and double check the total before describing it to your group. It is the perfect companion for tabletop RPG sessions when you forgot your physical dice bag, for classroom probability demonstrations, or for any quick ice breaker when you just need to roll something without reaching for a real set of physical dice at the table. Each die renders as a raised rounded square with a soft shadow, and the rolling animation shakes the tile vertically so the tray feels alive. The history pills record the die type, individual results and total in one compact line, making long sessions easy to read back at a glance.

- History cap: only the last eight rolls are kept and history clears on refresh
- Offline ready: once loaded the tool works without a network connection
