Time Zone Lookup
Time Zone Lookup
World cities · Live local time · UTC offset
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
The Time Zone Lookup is a live world-clock tool built for cross-border teamwork, remote work and travel. When you schedule a meeting with colleagues abroad, write to an overseas client, or plan an intercontinental flight, the hardest part is working out what time it is right now in each place. This tool embeds the IANA time zones of more than twenty major cities; the moment it opens it shows live clocks for Beijing, London, New York and Tokyo, refreshing every second. You can keep adding any city from the dropdown, and each one grows into a large clock card that displays the city name, a UTC offset badge and a ticking hours-minutes-seconds readout, with the matching date and weekday below. All time math is done locally by the browser's Intl time-zone API and handles daylight saving automatically, so there is no need to go online. Click the × on a card to remove a clock, copy the times straight into a meeting invite, or download a list of every city's current time.
Distributed teams run their day across many clocks at once, and a meeting scheduled without double-checking local times is the fastest way to lose half an hour of everyone's time. This tool turns that mental arithmetic into a glanceable dashboard: add the cities your colleagues live in, line their clocks up side by side, and the overlap of working hours becomes obvious at a glance. Because the clock values are computed by the browser's time-zone database, they respect daylight saving transitions automatically, so you do not have to remember which regions changed their clocks last month. The large digits are designed for quick scanning during a call, and copying the times means you can paste accurate local times straight into a calendar invite. It is a small, always-offline assistant for global collaboration.
