SEO Page Audit
Enter a URL and press Run audit. The page source is fetched and analysed locally. If this site provides no fetch channel, or the fetch fails, switch to the Paste source tab and paste the source by hand.
Parsing happens locally, nothing is uploaded and no script in the source is executed.
How to Use
📖 What it does
Type in a URL, press Run audit, and you get an SEO health check for that page. The tool fetches the page source, parses it locally into a document structure, checks it item by item and produces a score. All analysis happens inside your own browser; the source is never uploaded to any server.
Every check is objective: whether a title exists and whether its length will be truncated; meta description length; whether an H1 exists and whether there is more than one; whether heading levels jump straight from H2 to H4; whether a canonical is declared; whether meta robots hides a noindex (the easiest one to miss, and enough to keep a whole site out of the index); whether a viewport is set; whether the html element carries a lang attribute. Images are counted along with how many lack alt text; links are counted with totals for external and nofollow, and empty anchors with no link text are called out too.
Structured data gets its own pass: every application/ld+json block is parsed, and any that fails is flagged in red, because that is exactly what breaks rich results in search. If you supply a target keyword, the tool also reports where it appears across the title, H1, description and body text.
✨ Features
- Audit straight from a URL, no need to open the source and copy it by hand
- If fetching fails it tries a fallback channel automatically, and if every channel fails it says so and points you to manual pasting
- Sixteen objective checks covering title, description, heading order, images, links and structured data
- noindex and nofollow in meta robots are judged separately, so a site-wide indexing block never goes unnoticed
- Every JSON-LD block is parsed and failures are flagged in red; keyword placement is checked across title, H1, description and body
- Weighted scoring with counts for passed, needs work and failed, plus one-click report copy
🚀 How to use
- On the Enter URL tab, type the address of the page you want audited, for example https://www.example.com/
- Press Run audit and wait for the fetch to finish; the report appears automatically
- To check keyword coverage, fill in the target keyword field
- Read the overall score and the item list: green means passed, orange means needs work, red means failed
- If the fetch fails, switch to the Paste source tab and paste manually; use Copy report to export plain text
⚠️ Notes
- URL mode needs a connection: reading the page source is done through the fetch channel provided by this site, so URL mode cannot work offline or where no channel exists. The tool says so plainly and points you to the Paste source tab, which works fully offline with the same checks and never invents a result
- Limits and timeouts: a single fetch times out after 14 seconds and then tries a fallback channel. Avoid rapid repeated clicks, which can trigger rate limiting
- Rendered output is invisible: if a page builds its title or body with JavaScript, that content is absent from the source, so the score will look worse than reality. Trust what the browser renders
- Length thresholds are rules of thumb: 60 and 160 characters are roughly where major engines truncate, but this varies by engine and screen width, so treat them as guidance only
- The score is guidance, not a verdict: it reflects only how these checkable items fare and does not translate directly into ranking. Sources beyond roughly three million characters raise a size warning, so analyse the key fragment instead
