Image Stitcher
Images never leave your device
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
Stitching several images into one tall picture is a common need for step-by-step guides, comparison shots, chat screenshots and product detail images.
This tool joins images vertically or horizontally, can normalise their width or height so the edges line up, and lets you set the gap and background colour.
The order follows the list and can be rearranged. Each batch run produces one stitched image.
Every operation happens on your own device. The images you add never leave the machine, are never uploaded to a server, and leave no copy behind anywhere. That matters because it means you can process pictures containing faces, identity documents or commercial artwork without wondering where they ended up. It also means the speed depends entirely on your hardware: larger images and longer batches take proportionally longer, and the tab needs to stay open while the work runs. If you close it partway through, nothing has been lost except the time already spent, because nothing was ever sent anywhere in the first place.
What comes out is meant to be used. Download the files, drop them into whatever you are building, and come back whenever you need another pass. Because there is no account and no upload queue, there is no limit on how many times you run the tool or how many files you put through it, and no waiting behind other people jobs. The one thing worth checking is that the settings you chose actually suit your case: a quality preset that is right for a website hero image may be far too aggressive for a print file, and a crop ratio that flatters a landscape will cut the head off a portrait. Run a single image first, look at the result, then commit the whole batch.
One more thing worth knowing: the tool remembers nothing between visits. There is no history panel, no saved project and no cloud copy of what you did, which keeps things simple and private but also means you should download what you need before closing the tab. If you are working through a large batch, downloading in groups is safer than leaving a hundred finished files sitting in a page you might accidentally reload.
✨ Key Features
- Vertical and horizontal joining
- Normalise width or height so the seams line up
- Three alignments: start, centre and end
- Custom gap and background colour
- PNG, JPEG or WebP output
- Reorder at any time; the list order is the join order
🚀 How to Use
- Add the images in the order you want them joined
- Use the up and down buttons to rearrange
- Pick the direction and alignment
- Set the gap and background colour
- Press start, then preview and download
⚠️ Things to Note
- Canvas size limit: The stitched result cannot exceed the browser canvas limit, roughly one hundred and sixty million pixels, so scale very long images down first
- Rescaling softens detail: Normalising width or height rescales the images, which can slightly soften them, and the effect grows with the difference between original sizes
- Transparent areas: Transparent PNGs are filled with the background colour you set, so output PNG and check the background setting if you need transparency
- Order follows the list: Joining follows the file list strictly top to bottom or left to right; use the up and down buttons to rearrange
- Performance with large sets: Many images or very high resolutions use a lot of memory while joining, so consider working in batches
