Chat Buddy
How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
Chat Buddy is a little local toy that mimics a real messaging window, so that even when you are offline and in no mood to sign up for yet another account, you still have a conversation partner on call. It is not a cloud large model; instead it is a keyword rule engine running inside your browser. Your sentence is scanned against more than ten rule groups, and as soon as it hits a keyword in greeting, self-introduction, weather, mood, romance, food, time, jokes or help, a sensible reply is drawn from the matching pool, while unmatched questions receive a gentle fallback that invites you to say a bit more. Time-related questions are answered with the device's real clock, so the reading is honest rather than invented. The interface follows a familiar chat layout: gray bubbles on the left belong to the bot, indigo bubbles on the right belong to you, quick phrases sit along the top, and the input box with a send button sits at the bottom, with messages auto-scrolling to the newest line. Every rule and reply is embedded in the page, no network request is ever issued, and the whole thing works just as well in airplane mode. Because the reply for a given input is chosen deterministically by a small hash of your message, the same sentence always gets the same tone of answer, which makes the chat feel consistent rather than randomly drifting. It is a friendly placeholder for idle minutes, a demo of rule-based conversation logic, and a private sandbox where nothing you type ever leaves the tab. Because no message is ever sent to a server, you can experiment freely with rough drafts of difficult conversations, rehearse how you might ask for help, or simply vent about a bad day without any record being kept. The deterministic tone also keeps the chat feeling like a calm, predictable companion rather than an unpredictable service that might surprise you mid-sentence.
