How to Use
📖 Tool Introduction
Photo Filter Studio is an in-browser, fully local image tuning desk that distils the four most-used color adjustments from professional photo editors into four simple sliders: brightness, contrast, saturation and hue. The moment you upload a picture, every drag triggers a real pixel-level computation rather than a canned overlay. Brightness lifts or darkens the whole frame with an additive offset, contrast stretches the tonal ramp linearly around the mid-gray point of 128, and saturation together with hue are converted through the standard RGB to HSL color equations. Because the math follows the canonical color-space conversions, dragging saturation all the way down produces a true grayscale image, and rotating the hue by 180 degrees yields an accurate complementary tone instead of a rough layer blend. The desk also ships six quick presets — vivid, warm, cool, vintage and mono — that you can apply in one tap and then refine with the sliders. Every calculation happens inside your own browser memory; no photograph is ever uploaded to a server, which makes the tool a comfortable choice for ID photos, product shots and private images that you would rather not leave your device. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and the interface switches automatically between Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English to match the website language. In everyday use this covers most small edits without opening a desktop application: brighten a back-lit selfie before posting it, lift saturation a touch for a product shot, pull contrast on a flat scan, or sweep the hue slider just to see what the frame would look like in another color grade. Because the controls are continuous and repaint quickly, you can drag a slider back and forth to find the sweet spot rather than typing guesswork numbers, and the six presets act as safe starting points rather than final answers. The finished PNG matches the preview pixel for pixel, carries no watermark, and is ready the moment you click export.
✨ Key Features
- Brightness: lift or dim the whole frame across a hundred-level range
- Contrast: stretch the tonal ramp around mid-gray for a crisper look
- Saturation: standard HSL conversion; zero gives an accurate black-and-white photo
- Hue rotate: spin the whole wheel, ±180 degrees covers the full color circle
- Six presets: vivid, warm, cool, vintage and mono, applied in one click
- Live preview: instant repaint as you drag, export the result as lossless PNG
📝 How to Use
- Click the drop zone to upload an image, or drag a file straight onto it
- Watch the left preview and drag the brightness slider to set the overall lightness
- Keep adjusting contrast, saturation and hue until the result feels right
- Alternatively tap a quick preset, then fine-tune the sliders on top of it
- Once you are happy, click Export PNG to save the tuned image locally
⚠️ Notes
- Working size: very large images are scaled to a 2048px long edge to stay responsive
- Live repaint: each drag recomputes every pixel, so huge photos may lag on phones
- Transparency: transparent areas of a PNG are preserved exactly, never filled
- Export format: output is fixed to PNG; use a format converter afterwards if you need JPEG
- Original stays safe: all math happens in browser memory, the local file is untouched
