How to Use

📖 Tool Introduction

SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, but plenty of destinations only accept raster images: presentation decks, print layouts, social avatars, and most content platforms will reject a .svg upload. This tool rasterizes SVG into PNG, JPEG or WEBP inside your browser, with no software to install and nothing uploaded to a server.

Paste the markup or upload a .svg file, pick an output size and a scale multiplier, then press render. A 2x or 3x multiplier produces genuinely more pixels rather than upscaling a small bitmap, which is what you want for high-density screens and print.

Vector files carry no intrinsic pixel size, so how big the result should be is entirely your call. The tool reads the viewBox or the width and height attributes to work out the natural proportions and pre-fills a sensible size you can override.

Everything runs locally. The source markup never leaves your browser, which makes it safe for unreleased design work or company branding assets.

✨ Features

  • Reads viewBox or width/height to detect the natural size instead of making you guess.
  • Scale multipliers of 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x produce real extra pixels, not interpolated upscaling.
  • Exports PNG, JPEG or WEBP, covering print, web and submission workflows.
  • Background can be transparent, solid white or any custom color; PNG transparency layers cleanly onto dark artwork.
  • Aspect ratio lock: changing the width recomputes the height so icons never stretch.
  • Quality slider for JPEG and WEBP to trade file size against detail.
  • Reports output dimensions and file size so you can check platform limits before uploading.
  • One-click copy to clipboard, no download-and-repaste round trip.
  • Accepts local .svg uploads, skipping the trip to a text editor.
  • Fully client-side rendering; neither markup nor images are uploaded.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Paste the SVG markup, or press upload to choose a local .svg file.
  2. Confirm the output width and height, and tick the aspect lock if proportions matter.
  3. Choose a scale multiplier; 2x or higher is recommended for retina screens and print.
  4. Pick the output format and background handling, and set quality for JPEG or WEBP.
  5. Press render, check the preview, then download or copy to clipboard.

⚠️ Notes

  • Transparency is PNG only:JPEG and WEBP always fill the background, so transparent areas become the chosen color. The tool flags this when you switch formats.
  • External resources will not render:SVGs that reference remote fonts or cross-origin images are blocked by the browser and often export blank. Inline the assets into the SVG first.
  • Huge outputs consume memory:Dimensions above 8000px or a 4x multiplier use a lot of memory and may stall older devices; split the work into batches.
  • Text depends on local fonts:Text inside SVG is drawn with the system font, so it can look different elsewhere. Convert important headings to paths first.
  • Animated SVG exports one frame:Animated files render as a static image of their initial state rather than a frame from the middle of the animation.
  • Filters vary by browser:Complex filter effects can render slightly differently across browsers, so always eyeball the preview before exporting.

Rasterisation options

  • Scale factor: export at 1x for screen use, 2x or 3x for print and retina displays. Vector art stays smooth at any multiplier.
  • Background: keep transparency for icons and overlays, or paint a solid background when the target viewer does not support alpha channels.

Fonts and compatibility

  • Font fallback: text is drawn with the fonts available on your machine. Convert text to paths in the source SVG if you need identical glyphs elsewhere.
  • Nothing is uploaded: rendering happens entirely in your browser, so unreleased brand assets stay private.
